What makes TDPB different from other virtual mailbox services?

TDPB is built on trust, not just tech. We don’t work with anonymous PO Boxes or shared mailrooms. Every address in our network is real, local, and run by a trusted Partner.

You get one personal PO Box number that works across all your locations, and you only pay for scans when you actually need them.

Add to that our ISO-certified platform and privacy-first mindset, and you get more than a mailbox.
You get a service designed for freedom, clarity and control. Wherever life takes you.

A few common questions we often hear

  • No. The KvK requires proof of a postal address in the form of a 'huurovereenkomst postadres' (a postal-address rental agreement), which we don’t provide. So a TDPB address can’t be registered as your business or postal address with the Chamber of Commerce.

  • Absolutely. You can start in one country (like Spain or Dubai) and add others later, all under one Digital PO Box number.

  • Because VAT depends on your country and tax status. The correct amount is calculated during checkout.

  • We automatically discard all addressed advertising materials — like flyers, magazines or brochures — as long as they’re clearly identifiable as such. These items are not scanned, so you won’t waste scan credits on unwanted post.

  • VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and tax status.
If you're a business customer in the EU, you can enter a valid VAT number to apply reverse charge.
If no VAT number is provided (or it's invalid) VAT will be added to your payment.

  • TDPB is a digital-first service so your post is meant to be accessed online, or forwarded.
For security and efficiency reasons, physical pickup is not available at our Partner locations.

  • Every new customer completes an identity verification before their Digital PO Box is activated. This helps us prevent misuse, impersonation, or fraudulent activity.

Our verification process confirms that each Digital PO Box is linked to a real individual or business contact. We do this to protect our customers, our Partners, and the integrity of the TDPB network, because trust is the foundation of everything we do.

  • Absolutely. You pick the city (or cities) that work best for you. You can even add or change locations later if your needs change.

  • Yes. You can show your PO Box address on invoices, websites or for client communication. It gives your business a more professional look.
Please note: Our addresses are for receiving and managing postal mail only. They can only be used as correspondence addresses, not as legal or registered addresses with authorities.

  • Without arrangements, mail keeps arriving at your old address. The current tenant may forward it, return it, or not. Most German banks and the Finanzamt rarely accept a foreign address for ongoing correspondence, particularly if you still have German tax or banking ties to wind down. A TDPB German address used as your post-Abmeldung correspondence address keeps the wind-down visible. Always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing with.
