Can I use my TDPB address for Google My Business or Google Maps listings?

In most cases, no.

Google Business Profiles are meant to represent a real, customer-facing business location. According to Google’s guidelines, P.O. Boxes, virtual offices and mail forwarding-style addresses are generally not allowed, even if they are real street addresses.

The Digital PO Box provides a correspondence address, not a physical place of business for walk-in customers. For that reason, we do not recommend using a TDPB address for Google Business or Maps listings, even if it may appear to work temporarily.

A few common questions we often hear

  • Yes, that’s exactly what it is. You get a real street address where your mail is received, scanned, and uploaded to your secure online portal. It’s a remote mailbox you can access from anywhere in the world.

  • No. You don’t need to live nearby. Some customers choose a location close to home, others select one that fits their business or privacy needs — even in another city or country.

  • Absolutely. It’s a professional Dubai mailing address, suitable for banking, invoicing, and personal or business use. Just note: it’s not for legal company registration.

  • Yes. You can use your Digital PO Box address for receiving personal or business mail, including government letters, bank correspondence, and more.
Please note that our addresses can only be used as correspondence address, not as legal or registered address.

  • Most communication has moved to email and apps. What remains in physical mail is the residue: regulatory notices, formal verifications, official documents. The volume is lower but each piece carries more weight. The address that receives this residue is therefore more consequential, not less.

  • Outcomes vary by bank but commonly include: a written follow-up, account restrictions, frozen access pending KYC update, and in extreme cases account closure. The earliest interventions are usually reversible if you respond quickly. Later stages get harder to unwind.

  • Policies vary. TDPB continues to process your mail until your subscription ends. After that, mail is no longer scanned or forwarded, but any incoming post is returned to sender for at least one month. With marketplace services like Anytime Mailbox, it depends on the individual location operator. Always check the cancellation and mail handling policy before signing up.

  • It’s based on a real PO Box, but enhanced with digital access. You don’t have to collect your mail, we scan and upload it for you.
