Can I register at the Citizen’s Office or municipality using this address?

No.

TDPB addresses are correspondence addresses, not residential addresses. Most municipalities and citizen offices require proof of actual residence, which a correspondence address cannot provide.

For residence registration, you will need a valid residential address that meets local legal requirements.

A few common questions we often hear

  • TDPB is built on trust, not just tech. We don’t work with anonymous PO Boxes or shared mailrooms. Every address in our network is real, local, and run by a trusted Partner.

You get one personal PO Box number that works across all your locations, and you only pay for scans when you actually need them.

Add to that our ISO-certified platform and privacy-first mindset, and you get more than a mailbox.
You get a service designed for freedom, clarity and control. Wherever life takes you.

  • Nachsendeauftrag forwards mail from one German address to another. Once you switch your correspondence address with each institution to your TDPB address, the Nachsendeauftrag becomes redundant. You can let it expire or cancel it. The advantage of moving to TDPB is that it does not have a 24-month limit.

  • Absolutely. You pick the city (or cities) that work best for you. You can even add or change locations later if your needs change.

  • A Partner physically handles your mail, so in theory they could read it. In practice, they are contractually forbidden from doing so. Partners are bound by a strict data processing agreement, identity checked, trained, and subject to our audit and inspection rights. Opening an item only happens when you request a content scan, and reading, copying or sharing the contents is a serious breach with real consequences. It is the same principle as a bank employee who can technically see your balance but is bound by rules, checks and accountability not to misuse that access.

  • It depends on usage. The TDPB base address from € 7,50/month on the yearly plan, or € 15/month on the monthly plan, with mail handling priced separately (€ 0,90 per scan, € 7,50/month unlimited, or € 27,50/month full service), is in a similar range to a small PO Box rental in many countries. The differences sit elsewhere: you don't have to visit anything in person, you get a real street address rather than a PO Box number, and most banks, insurers, and government bodies accept it as a correspondence address. Acceptance can vary, so always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing to be 100% sure. See full pricing on our rates page.

  • TDPB charges from € 7,50/month for the address on the yearly plan, or € 15/month on the monthly plan, with scanning bought separately. For the full breakdown, see our Rates page.
