Can I register my company at a TDPB address?

No.
The Digital PO Box does not provide legal company registration or “seat” addresses. Our addresses are intended for correspondence only and cannot be used as a registered office or official business domicile.

If you need a company registration address, you will need a solution that explicitly offers that service.

A few common questions we often hear

  • No problem. Your mail is scanned and uploaded, and you can forward anything to your current location — even internationally.

  • A traditional PO box is a numbered box at a postal facility where your post waits until you collect it in person. A correspondence-type virtual address is a real street address, and the provider notifies you when something arrives and can scan it to your online inbox. The practical difference shows up on forms: many institutions ask for a street address, which a PO box cannot give you. We compare the two in more detail in our virtual mailbox vs PO box guide.

  • Platforms can suspend your listings or remove them from the EU market. Apple began removing non-compliant apps in February 2025. Etsy and other marketplaces have similar enforcement. Non-compliance means losing access to 450 million EU consumers.

  • Absolutely. You get a real street address - not a P.O. box - which you can use on invoices, websites, contracts and business cards.

  • Yes. You receive a real postal address that’s accepted for most institutions, just like a regular mailing address. Please note that it's a postal address, not a legal registration address.

  • No. A virtual address is often a reference number or database entry with no physical location behind it. A Digital PO Box, as provided by The Digital PO Box, is a real street address at an actual staffed Partner location. Most banks and government agencies accept it because it is a genuine address, not a virtual one. Always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing with.

  • TDPB isn't strictly a virtual mailbox. It's a real correspondence address at a Partner location, with mail handling as a separate, optional layer. That structural difference shows up in pricing too. Some virtual mailbox services charge all-in subscriptions which can get expensive. TDPB charges a flat address fee (from € 7,50/month on the yearly plan, or € 15/month on the monthly plan) with scan credits on top, so you only pay for what you use.

Light users typically pay only the base fee in most months. Active mail users can add unlimited scanning (€ 7,50/month per address) or full service ([pricing_full_service]/month per address). Always verify current rates on each provider's site before committing. See the full breakdown on our rates page.

  • Yes, that’s exactly what it is. You get a real street address where your mail is received, scanned, and uploaded to your secure online portal. It’s a remote mailbox you can access from anywhere in the world.

  • Yes. Legitimate correspondence-address services operate lawfully across Europe, and reputable providers verify the identity of every customer. What matters is using the address for what it is meant for: correspondence. It is not a registered office, proof of residency, or a tax address, and using it honestly for post and official communication is a normal, lawful arrangement.
