Does a TDPB address mean I'm a tax resident of that country?

No. The address is a correspondence point. Tax residency is determined by where you actually live and the relevant national tests (physical presence, centre of vital interests, habitual abode, and similar). This is not legal or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation. For a related question about fiscal addresses, see Can I use a TDPB address as my official fiscal or tax address?.

A few common questions we often hear

  • TDPB charges from € 7,50/month for the address on the yearly plan, or € 15/month on the monthly plan, with scanning bought separately. For the full breakdown, see our Rates page.

  • No. There’s no physical collection required. Your mail is scanned and delivered to you digitally. No deadlines, no penalties.

  • Possibly, depending on your specific setup. A TDPB address can work for client invoices and routine business correspondence, but Germany's Impressumspflicht has specific requirements for business address disclosure on websites and formal documents. Always verify with a tax adviser or lawyer before using a correspondence address in a regulated business context.

  • TDPB is a digital-first service so your post is meant to be accessed online, or forwarded.
For security and efficiency reasons, physical pickup is not available at our Partner locations.

  • No, and the distinction is worth knowing before you buy. Some providers give you a digital reference or a shared mail-centre address that exists mainly to route post. Every address we provide is a real, physical street address at a local Partner location, which you manage online. Dubai is the one exception, where the offering is a PO Box with a building-level location reference.

  • No problem. You can have any item forwarded to your preferred location, even internationally.

  • Many customers do.

Our addresses are real, Partner-operated locations and not mass-used virtual office hubs. They are designed to function as stable correspondence addresses, which is often what banks require for communication purposes.

That said, acceptance is always decided by the bank itself and depends on internal policies, the country and your specific situation. We cannot guarantee acceptance, but our model is intentionally designed to avoid common red flags associated with virtual office addresses.

  • Nachsendeauftrag forwards mail from one German address to another. Once you switch your correspondence address with each institution to your TDPB address, the Nachsendeauftrag becomes redundant. You can let it expire or cancel it. The advantage of moving to TDPB is that it does not have a 24-month limit.

  • No. The UAE does not have a residential mail delivery system. All physical mail must be directed to a PO Box or an alternative address service. This is different from most European and North American countries where letters are delivered to your home.

  • Most banks in Germany accept real street addresses at local Partner locations as correspondence addresses. Always verify with your specific bank before switching, as policies and verification systems vary by institution. See active locations for TDPB's current German Partner locations.
