How and when do I get paid?

You’ll receive a monthly payment based on the number of active customers using your address, plus a bonus for each scan you process. Payment details are explained and agreed upon during onboarding.

A few common questions we often hear

  • Yes. The Address Association Letter confirms your ongoing association with the address, which is something platforms expect to be stable. A trader address that changes every few months undermines the trust the letter is meant to establish. The annual plan ensures the address stays active and verifiable for the institutions and platforms that rely on it, which is exactly why they ask for documentation in the first place.

  • Yes. You’ll get a push notification as soon as a new scan is ready. No more guessing or checking the mailbox.

  • Only you. Once your post is scanned, it’s uploaded in encrypted form and only accessible via your secure customer portal.

While local partners handle the physical mail before scanning, they are contractually bound to follow strict privacy rules, including not reading or inspecting the contents.
TDPB staff and system administrators do not have access to scanned documents or account content.

  • In most cases, yes. TDPB addresses are real street addresses accepted by most banks, insurers, and government agencies for correspondence purposes. Always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing with to be 100% sure. TDPB addresses are not intended for company registration or legal domicile, but for personal and administrative communication they work the same way as any other address. See Using your address for more details about the use of the address.

  • Normally not — TDPB handles all customer communication and support. However, if you welcome walk-in visitors (like in a shop or coworking space), you’re free to interact with them if you’d like.

  • Not in itself. It becomes problematic when there is a mismatch between the address on file with a financial institution and your actual residence (for CRS or national tax-residency purposes), or when the address is used in ways that misrepresent your residency. The cleaner solution is a correspondence address that does not imply residence at all. Always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing to be 100% sure. For a breakdown of what a TDPB correspondence address can be used for, see Using your TDPB address.

  • You can pay monthly (€ 15 per location) or choose the yearly plan (€ 90 per location) which saves you 50%. Both the monthly and yearly plan are billed in advance, at the moment of purchase.

As for scanning and forwarding costs, you can either choose the Unlimited, which is billed monthly, or you can buy scan credits whenever you need them. These are billed at the time of purchase.

  • Nachsendeauftrag forwards mail from one German address to another. Once you switch your correspondence address with each institution to your TDPB address, the Nachsendeauftrag becomes redundant. You can let it expire or cancel it. The advantage of moving to TDPB is that it does not have a 24-month limit.

  • It depends on the country and authority, but often no.

Vehicle registration frequently requires a residential address or proof of local residence. In many cases, a correspondence address is not sufficient.

We strongly recommend checking the specific requirements of the relevant authority before attempting to use any non-residential address for vehicle registration.
