How will my post be processed?

You choose your preferred mail handling when you sign up — and we take care of the rest.
You can decide to:

  • Have the contents opened and scanned, with the option to forward or destroy the originals
  • Receive a scan of the envelope only, and have the items forwarded unopened

Your setting applies to all incoming post, and you can change it at any time in your portal.

On this page you can read more about our mail processing options.

A few common questions we often hear

  • VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and tax status.
If you're a business customer in the EU, you can enter a valid VAT number to apply reverse charge.
If no VAT number is provided (or it's invalid) VAT will be added to your payment.

  • You can update your contact details directly in your portal. Other changes may require a formal request. Deletion is possible if there are no legal obligations to retain your data (e.g. for tax or compliance reasons).

  • Most European banks accept a TDPB Partner address for the correspondence layer. Some banks have specific requirements at account opening (resident status documentation, additional ID checks). Address acceptance depends on the specific bank and account type. Always verify the specific requirements of the institution you are dealing with to be 100% sure.

  • Yes, you can manage everything from anywhere in the world. Your post will be received, scanned and stored digitally and the originals can be forwarded if needed.

  • Yes. Your Digital PO Box isn’t tied to your location. You can live or work anywhere, and your post will be scanned and uploaded for you to access online. You can choose to use one fixed address, or set up multiple Digital PO Boxes in different countries as you travel through them.

  • No. A PO Box is a physical box you have to visit. A virtual mailbox gives you access to your mail online, with full control and flexibility.

  • Even if you choose to scan and destroy mail, we still require a forwarding address from you. This is because it is possible to receive a mail item that cannot be scanned, such as a bank card. You will always receive a scan of the envelope, but in the case of a non-scannable item, this mail item will be forwarded.

You can update the forwarding address at any time and change it as often as necessary.

  • Yes. Many of our users are part-time residents or travel often. You don’t need to live in Dubai full-time to keep your address active.

  • You don’t need a separate room or dedicated square meters. Just a small, quiet spot where you can safely scan post is enough.
What’s more important is having a secure letterbox for deliveries and a bit of shelf or drawer space to store incoming post. For example, using labeled trays or folders.

  • Absolutely. You pick the city (or cities) that work best for you. You can even add or change locations later if your needs change.
